新中式风格诞生于中国传统文化复兴的新时期，伴随着国力增强，民族意识逐渐复苏，人们开始从纷乱的“摹仿”和“拷贝”中整理出头绪。在探寻中国设计界的本土意识之初，逐渐成熟的新一代设计队伍和消费市场孕育出含蓄秀美的新中式风格。在中国文化风靡全球的现今时代，中式元素与现代材质的巧妙兼柔，明清家具、窗棂、布艺床品相互辉映，再现了移步变景的精妙小品。继承明清时期家居理念的精华，将其中的经典元素提炼并加以丰富，同时改变原有空间布局中等级、尊卑等封建思想，给传统家居文化注入了新的气息。

在整体硬装上我们没有设计过多的材料装饰，相对间简介的实木边框；地面整体素雅中够了深色线条将功能区上进行视觉上的分离，墙面采用素雅的墙布或壁纸；整体用材上几乎都是纯天然的材料，在软装上我们放弃了传统的国画；采用更为现代风格的水墨抽象画更具现代人审美习惯
In the whole hard surfaces we did not design too much decoration materials,solid wood frames between relatively brief; the overall elegant enough groundin dark lines on the functional areas were separated on the vision, the elegantwallpaper or wall covering wall; the whole timber is almost pure naturalmaterial, we installed in soft abandon the traditional Chinese painting; inkabstract painting by more modern style with modern aesthetic habits

中国风并非完全意义上的复古明清，而是通过中式风格的特征，表达对清雅含蓄、端庄丰华的东方式精神境界的追求。

中式风格要点：中国风的构成主要体现在传统家具(多为明清家具为主)、装饰品及黑、红为主的装饰色彩上。室内多采用对称式的布局方式，格调高雅，造型简朴优美，色彩浓重而成熟。中国传统室内陈设包括字画、匾幅、挂屏、盆景、瓷器、古玩、屏风、博古架等，追求一种修身养性的生活境界。中国传统室内装饰艺术的特点是总体布局对称均衡，端正稳健，而在装饰细节上崇尚自然情趣，花鸟、鱼虫等精雕细琢，富于变化，充分体现出中国传统美学精神。
